Am 13. März startet der Kultursender Arte sein neues werktägliches Reportageformat „Re:“.

In der 30-minütigen Dokumentation werden aktuelle Themen anhand starker Protagonisten erzählt. „Wir wollen Europa begreiflicher machen, aus der Sicht von Menschen, deren Geschichten den komplizierten Kontinent in allen seinen Winkeln ausleuchten“, sagte Arte Deutschland-Geschäftsführer und ZDF Koordinator Wolfgang Bergmann in Berlin.
Ebenfalls spricht er von einer „journalistischen Mobilmachung für Europa“ und bezeichnet den Innovationsschub als „die größte Programmanstrengung von Arte Deutschland in den letzten zehn Jahren“.
Den Auftakt des „Re:“ Programms macht am 13. März - zwei Tage vor den Wahlen in den Niederlanden- die Reportage „Auch unsere Niederlande! Sylvia Simons und ihre neue Partei“. Gefolgt von polnischen Freizeitkriegern, französischen Supermüttern und einem ukrainischem Pizzabäcker.

Parallel zur TV Ausstrahlung kann die Sendung um 19.45 Uhr auch in der Arte-Mediathek und auf Facebook live verfolgt werden.
Überdies setzt Arte auf eine starke Einbindung des Publikums in den sozialen Netzwerken wie Twitter und Facebook. Diskussionen mit Experten und eine wöchentliche Facebook-Livesendung „Re:act!“ runden das Angebot ab.

Geplant sind 160 Filme pro Jahr, deren Produktion auf die verschiedenen ARD-Anstalten und das ZDF verteilt wird. Das ZDF beauftragt wiederum Produktionsfirmen wie Spiegel TV, Eco Media oder Sandra Maischbergers Vincent TV mit der Herstellung der aktuellen Reportagen.
