ORF Vienna Regional director Edgar Weinzettl Edgar Weinzettl, born and raised in St. Pölten, gained his first media experience at various newspapers, cultural and media projects in Lower Austria after graduating from high school. In addition, he studied law and political science in Vienna (1995 submission of diploma thesis on the topic: "municipal cultural policy" - not completed). After his civilian service, he joined the regional studio in Vienna. In 2002 Weinzettl became head of the Radio Vienna editorial department. In 2012, he moved to the ORF radio information department as head of the ORF radio domestic policy editorial department.

On 16 September 2021, he was appointed Regional Director of the ORF Regional Studio Vienna.
