For urgent, compelling reasons directly related to school closures as part of the federal government's measures to limit Covid19 infections in April 2020, ORF and BMBWF have concluded an agreement for the licensing and provision of educational media as well as the establishment and operation of a streaming platform for the Austrian education sector. Under this educational media agreement, ORF has made contributions/productions available on the platform for teaching and learning purposes.
ORF has commissioned ORS to provide the service to the federal government as a cloud service via which the educational media can be accessed by means of password access.
