"A European Perspective"
The Czech Republic is the youngest of the now
15 members of the "A European Perspective" project.
Petr Dvořák, General Director of Ceská Televize, said: "Joining 'A European Perspective' helps preserve our independence by
sharing trusted news from public service media, and it is an opportunity for citizens across Europe to discover our journalism."
What is "A European Perspective?" "A European Perspective" collects and translates news from participating European public service newsrooms. Each participating organization makes its contributions available via a Digital News Hub, where they are translated into multiple languages. Editors can select and publish the stories most relevant to their audience - offering multiple perspectives on a single news story.
In this way, the public gains access to news from different countries - this should lead out of the "news bubble" and promote media literacy.
