Regional Director Karin Bernhard

Karin Bernhard grew up in Knittelfeld in Styria. After graduating from high school, she began studying at the Pedagogical Academy in Graz. In addition to her studies, she trained as an announcer and from 1982 worked for the current affairs service at the ORF regional studio in Styria, among others. Since 1986 she has worked for the Carinthian regional studio. She played a major role in the development of "Kärnten Heute", where she acted as head of service and was responsible for the development and management of the society section "Dabei". From 2007 she was in charge of the TV programme "Treffpunkt".

She has been the director of the Carinthian regional studio since 1 January 2012 and was confirmed for the next term of office on 16 September 2021.
