Order verification
According to the ORF Act in some cases order verifications have to be formulated. Those order verifications conduce the firm establishment of the legal duties which are situated in program and service (§ 5a ORF Act). All order verifications, new or amended have to be forwarded to the KommAustria (Austrian communication authority). The KommAustria has eight weeks after the new or amended order verifications have been forwarded to them, to give their approval to the concept. If the concept has been approved ORF publishes the amended or new order verification on ORF's official website. Furthermore, all order verifications which have been formulated and approved in the course of pre-order-verification-examinations (§ 6a ORF Act) as well as official license have to be published on the website.

The Austrian communication authority KommAustria has disapproved the execution of the order verification of the debatte.ORF.at in terms of aggregation of single debated being on the feature page of the website in accordance § 5a Abs 2 iVm § 4f Abs 2 Z 23 ORF Act. The appeal of the ORF to the Federal Communication Senate has been rejected on the 7/9/2011. The complaint of the ORF at the Higher Administrative Court has been approved on the 24th July 2012 and therefore the challenged appeal rescinded.
