The world is in dramatic transformation. Political disruption and economic imbalance produce social unrest. Climate change and weapons of mass destruction create scenarios of global disaster. Democracy and cherished values are under threat. But there is more than bad news. Worldwide there are uncountable initiatives, organizations and people striving for peace, creating new solutions for policy, economy and technology, working hard for the common good of society. But what kind of competence, experience and resources are needed? Who should participate and cooperate? Do we need new alliances, a new mindset of empowerment? International influencers share their experience and ideas, starting with refugee issues and extending out to a broad range of social challenges.
