It goes without saying that the ORF presents topics of diversity, inclusion and integration in its overall program, in which it is legally obliged, among other things, to ensure that broadcasts do not incite hatred on the basis of race, gender, age, disability, religion or nationality. Its mission statement states: "We convey diversity: ORF presents social, regional, ethnic, religious and cultural diversity in all dimensions in the best quality when creating and selecting its programs. The ORF program ensures democratic diversity of opinion and is as diverse and interest-oriented as the audience and society itself. The ORF program connects everyone, majorities and minorities."
