Contrary to commercial media organisations, the ORF must follow an obligatory educational mandate, which includes all demographic groups: children, youths, adults and seniors in the cities as well as in the countryside. The ORF does that as a multimedia education platform on TV, the radio and online and through numerous alliances and cooperative activities.
